KAY, WHEN I WAS A KID, 'THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER' WAS GOLD. And it's still cool to me. I own all three of the movies (even though the first movie scared the shiz outta me in some spots, like with the dream Toaster has of the clown...) ANYWAYS, I relived my childhood today and watched it and realized just how CREEPY it is. But I like it now, since I'm into things like that.
It's really only very dark because all of the appliances are alive, and in the junkyard in the 'Worthless' song, the cars are alive, and they're being crushed to death and impacted. I never realized how sad that was and how un-children's movie-like it seemed...
Those poor, poor appliances.
Not to mention that when I was a kid the air conditioner scared me when he freaked out and blew up. And that's still kinda...very weird.
IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE, WATCH IT. Animation is very good for a disney film made in 1988. 1st movie was the absolute best because of its darker style, other two are still cute but much lighter and have a different coloring and story scheme. :3

This made me cry SO BAD. I feel really bad for the poor, lonely flower.

'B-MOVIE' -THE PART COLLECTOR'S WORKSHOP - 'THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER' (1st movie)
(BTW the part collector finds old appliances ans pulls the batteries from them to sell to other people, which, in a sense, is like killing the appliances, so it's pretty creepy. That's why Toaster, Lampie, Kirby, Radio, and Blankie are very freaked out.)

There you go. It's a really dark but REALLY good movie. You won't feel like a kid when you're watching it, 'cept for when they sing SOMETIMES. SOme of the songs are catchy and good. :3
Well I relived my childhood. So I shall stop with the videos and crawl back into my recently inactive hole.
Seriously? Since I finished TDK and most recently finished proofing it and readied it for my dad to send, I've hit a huge block and I can't find anything to write about yet. I can't draw what I want to draw, either, and it's bugging me. But I'll get over it.
